Les Curiosités de Laubade is a limited series of Bas Armagnacs launched in late September 2019 by Chùteau de Laubade.
'The Enchanter', one of the Curiosities of Laubade, is an eau-de-vie from the 2010 vintage that has been matured in barrels of the Cru Classé of Sauternes Chùteau Doisy Daëne. In the spring of 2020, a barrel emptied of its wine came to Laubade to refine the Gascon brandy for 8 months.
L'Enchanteur celebrates the friendship and experience between the Lesgourgues family of Laubade and Dubourdieu family of Doisy Daëne.
The nose offers a sumptuous aromatic palette of citrus and candied fruits. The palate, round and smooth, is delicious and fresh at the same time.
